Using "Expanding tool" to deal with many SPDs!

During the working, we always deal with many spectral power distributions (SPD) from measurement, supplier or simulation. But, there is a common issue in the practical work. The `delta` Wavelengths are not always the same, which cause many inconvenient, because there is always extra-manual adjustments. Especially if you obtain a series of SPD from curve fitting.

Here is a small tool, embedded in our CRI tool or EXP tool. Please follow this link and download the xlsm file (with Marco) . There is a sheet (tab) named "Exp_tool", which will do the trick.

In the yellow shaded area, please (1) clear the original data, (2) copy-and-paste new wavelength and corresponding data, and (3) click the button "Do Expand!!". The Marco will apply the linear interpolation to redefine the SPD of `delta`Wavelength=1 nm.

How about the data with every 10 nm? turn to another sheet (tab) in the Exp tool, here you an find a easy example using Excel "vlookup" command.

Hope these tools can help!
